Bisia has been in private practice as a therapist for 24 years and a singer for 37. Since the release of her
first CD “Thirsty Desert” in 1997 (Mostyn Sound Studios; producer Larry Ottaway), she has incorporated both of her consuming interests into teaching vocal and movement improvisation to the general public and developed a self - care program for caregivers that are dealing with burnout. She presents these workshops to both professional and informal caregivers who are in desperate need to recharge, rebalance and regain their sense of well being. Caring for the caregiver is her mandate.

In May of 2001, Bisia produced and performed in “Out of One” at the Belfry Theatre under the direction of Paul Palmer, a show that featured seven pieces from her CD, plus four new vocal/body collaborations. The vocal pieces were performed, as a multi-media presentation, with the accompaniment of interpretive dancers, a cappella and with a trio of jazz musicians, one of which was her son Luke Kozlowski, drummer for the Immaculate Machine..
Bisia was on the faculty of Lynda Raino School of Modern Dance for a three year period and during that time worked with BIG DANCE. Her piece “ Walking Song” was used in their documentary film by May Street Productions, which aired on the Women’s Network in 1999. Other pieces were used in a variety of dance and theatre performances within the same time period.
